The Cheddington Baby and Toddler Group has now been running for nearly 30 years. From small beginnings in the Scout Hut, when half a dozen Mums met on Tuesday afternoons, the group now caters for around 40 Parents and Carers and around 60 children from Cheddington and the surrounding villages – including Pitstone, Marsworth, Ivinghoe, Long Marston, Slapton, Tring, Leighton Buzzard, Aldbury, Mentmore, Ivinghoe Aston & Edlesborough.

The Group is held on Friday mornings, for 0-4 year olds,9.30 – 11.30am, in Cheddington Village Hall – see Contact Us for the full address and a map.

We have lots of toys for all ages, a baby/crawler area, a different craft activity every week, dressing up, homemade cakes and (bottomless!) tea and coffee for the parents/carers. The entrance fee also includes a snack and drink for the children at 10.30am.

We’re proud to be a great support group for mums-to-be, parents and carers alike. With lots of fun activities and friendly faces, the group operates during the term time and unlike some groups, we try to keep running through half-terms and some of the school holidays (though we do close for August). The group is run and staffed entirely by volunteers, so we will always welcome any offers of help – however small, from helping set up or tidy up at the end of the session, to washing up after snack time!
